Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire a Senior LAN Technician who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

As a Senior LAN Technician you will:
•Provide a single point of contact for on-site support operations
•Provides in-person support for request fulfillment, incident management and access management related process workflows
•Install, diagnose, repaire, maintain and upgrade all computer hardware and equipment to ensure optimal workstation performance.
•While the role will primarily serve as escalation support from the service desk and other LAN Tech 1 and II positions, this position is required to provide smart hands support and on-site troubleshooting for network and server hardware as requested.
•Troubleshoot problem areas (in person, by telephone, or via email) in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide end-user assistance where required.

Qualifications include:
•Advanced understanding of Microsoft technologies including Windows 10, and Android/iOS for mobile devices
•Advanced understanding of computer hardware/peripherals, computer systems characteristics, features, and integration capabilities
•General knowledge of information systems, hardware platforms, enterprise software applications, and outsourced systems management, as well as server and network hardware; the ability to provide advanced smart hands support for network and server teams
•Ability to work in a fast-paced critical patient care driven organization
•Customer Service orientated individual with strong oral and written communication skills who is exceptionally self-motivated and directed with a desire to learn and adapt to new technologies
•Must be able to critically think and present arguments in an articulate manner to both technical and non-technical audiences

Education, Experience, & Certifications and/or Licensure
•Bachelor's degree in the field of computer science or information technology is preferred
•6+ years of experience supporting workstations, peripherals, and general end point devices in an enterprise environment
•3+ years managing and enterprise team of desktop support staff
•Experience with Cerner workstations and peripherals is preferred
•A+ Certification or similar certification required
•Network + or similar certification required
•ITILv3 Foundations is preferred
