Summary
The MIL Corporation seeks a Project Server/SharePoint Administrator to support a Federal Government client at our Charleston, SC location. As a member of the Systems Development and Maintenance (SDM) team, the Analyst will support the Project Manager and team responsible for the development, testing and implementation of software applications. Candidate will work as a member of the Program Management Office (PMO) and provide assistance to the executive management, Project Managers (PMs), and project team members in establishing projects, providing guidance and best practices while supporting the Microsoft Project environment. Specific areas of focus include: helping with gathering, analyzing and reporting the information necessary to support software releases through the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities
• Work with the PMO team to support client site-specific software applications and projects
• Develop and manage Project Server configurations within SharePoint and Project Server environments.
• Customize Project Web App to fit newly developing PMO and organizational project management portfolio
• Manage connected SharePoint sites in Project Server
• Administer the Project Server environment - tasks include, but not limited to, managing permissions, add/change/delete users, account maintenance, import/upload project schedules
• Work with PMs to create tasks within the Project Server/Project Web Access (PWA) environment
• Develop, maintain and support custom solutions (templates, workflows, views, reports, dashboards, calendars, schedules, etc.)
• Work with members of the PMO to manage the enterprise resources
• Configure Project Server/PWA environment
• Troubleshoot issues related to the Project Server/PWA environment
• Provide end user training and support, and develop training materials/Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for system users
• Perform master scheduler duties to support the PMO
• Gather business requirements for system use and reporting

Required Qualifications
• BA/BS in Project Management, Computer/Management Information Systems, Computer Science or related field
• 6 years of overall relevant experience; 2 years of experience participating in or supporting project management activities, preferably in software development
• Knowledge of project management best practices
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Project Server/PWA and Project Professional installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and use
• Hands-on experience in deploying, customizing, maintaining and supporting Project Server/PWA environments;
• Expertise with MS Project Professional/Server and SharePoint
• Expertise with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multi-task while maintaining a professional demeanor
• Ability to establish rapport with key participants of the project teams

Desired Qualifications
• PMP or CAPM certification
• MS in Project Management
• Experience with Power BI Reporting
• Experience with CMMI-Dev principles
• Experience with Waterfall and Agile software development methodologies
