ABOUT THE ROLE AND OUR TEAM:

Reporting to the General Counsel , the Port folio Manager is responsible for examining, evaluating, recommending and implementing loan workout strategies for Rapid Finance debt accounts . The successful candidate is diligent with outstanding communication, critical thinking and analytical skills.

We have an awesome opportunity for you in our corporate office in Bethesda, MD , a couple city blocks from the Bethesda Metro. We are currently remote until October 2021.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE A HIGH PERSONAL STANDARD OF EXCELLENCE, A DRIVE FOR RESULTS, AND A PROACTIVE, "CAN-DO" ATTITUDE AND WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
  • Utilize various skip tracing techniques and collection strategies to locate right parties on high collectability or value accounts
  • Bring your thinking, strategies, and ideas to assist in mitigating company losses
  • Determine suitability of accounts for legal action
  • Determine suitability of judgment accounts for enforcement action
  • Coordinate with out-of-state attorneys to enforce Maryland judgments
  • Navigate court procedures of various states and jurisdictions
  • Perform tasks to ensure efficient workflow while processing and handling legal collection accounts.
  • Successfully meet and exceed daily and monthly quotas
  • Drafting various correspondence including- emails, demand letters, status letters to clients.
  • Effectively utilize all available information resources to locate contact information for delinquent customers


SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES HAVE:
  • 4 year degree or paralegal certification or the equivalent experience.
  • Must be reliable, flexible, and committed.
  • Must have the ability to positively adapt to change.
  • Strong computer knowledge, particularly MS Word, Excel, and other office equipment (scanner, fax, copier machines).
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment, handling multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and the general public.
  • High emotional IQ- very strong communication skills and a demonstrated ability to work effectively across all levels within the organization- from C-Level to team members, while being sensitive to business needs.
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task, have "go-getter" mentality, and ability to independently problem-solve and make decisions.
