Knowesis is currently seeking an experienced EEO/Civil Rights Policy Analyst to support the EEO and civil rights efforts of the Office for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (ODEI). This position requires a SECRET clearance and requires US Citizenship (applicants without proof of US citizenship will not be considered due to the position's security clearance requirement). Duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: * Provide subject matter expertise on an equal opportunity, harassment, sexual harassment, diversity & inclusion, and other civil rights in the DoD civilian environment to the Office for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, under the Office of for the Secretary of Defense and Office for the Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness. * Provide subject matter expertise to advise and give guidance on civil rights program support, policies, and emerging trends. * Review and prepare responses to Congressional requests and inquiries and requests from other federal government agencies and partners. Provide recommendations and program management to meet MEO and EEO requests, keeping the programs in line with policy requirements and emerging trends. * Write and develop meaningful reports, documents, and insights from research and data analytics. * Track and maintain program goals, objectives, statistics, metrics, and achievements for ODEI reporting purposes. * Provide support for the ODEI program metrics and analysis, allowing for regular monitoring, analysis, reporting, and presentations for DoD diversity programs and policy changes. * Provide project management, guidance, tracking, coordination actions, and reporting support for Congressional and other stakeholder inquiries to include consolidating reports, packaging, and seeking appropriate approvals. * Support the ODEI staff in their policy support and compliance, inquiry responses, data gathering and analysis, Congressional and DoD reporting, and implementation of plans surrounding MEO/EEO and other emerging initiatives and topics as required by the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness OUSD (P&R). * Assist with drafting strategic policy planning recommendations and implementation guidance to support ODEI policy programs to include crafting guidance, manuals, directives, issuances, training curriculum, briefings, meeting support, and all aspects to support the maintenance, implementation, and execution of change management and strategic plans. * Conduct regular analysis and recommendations of ODEI Policy programs (eg, ODEI, MEO, EEO, Diversity Management, etc.) to validate compliance, readiness, respond to internal and external stakeholders the execution of program requirements. * Provide high-level strategic analytics and reports support will be required to support numerous reporting requirements, including senior-level reports and briefings on total workforce ODEI progress. * Prepare data call requests to Services and Defense agencies D&I research, data collection, and initiatives. * Manage administrative tasks of projects, such as developing and updating timelines, project tracking sheets, briefing decks, information papers, talking points; scheduling and supporting working group meetings; and staying up-to-date on the status of multiple projects at a time. * Develop support materials for DoD Issuances and official memorandums and correspondence that comply with DoD writing style and formatting requirements. Skills * Analysis skills to review data, draw conclusions, and write coherently about those conclusions, targeted towards reviewing policies, identifying gaps, and developing solutions for those gaps. * Legal research, analysis, and writing skills preferred. * Independent worker and problem-solver. * A meticulous approach to writing. Adept at presenting clear, concise, factual reports free from political conclusions or any judgment of individual journalist(s) and free of grammatical errors or misspellings. * Detail-oriented and organized, specifically focused on the administrative tasks of project planning, such as developing timelines that comply with DoD policies, meeting deadlines, planning 10-18 months in advance, and identifying early when a deadline needs to be changed.#06022021
