**Director - Global Public Policy** **Overall Purpose:** Develop and advocate optimal public policy positions related to cybersecurity and emerging technology on a state, federal, and global basis in support of AT&Ts business objectives. **Key Roles and Responsibilities:** + Collaborate with AT&T CSO, AT&T Technology and Operations and E&LA to identify, coordinate, develop and advocate AT&T's strategic policy positions on issues at the intersection of national security, cybersecurity and emerging technology. + Identify and analyze emerging business interests and external policy developments and facilitate development of strategic policy positions that satisfy public policy needs while creating new business opportunities, minimizing adverse legal and regulatory developments, and guiding external policy outcomes in optimal directions. + Collaborate and partner with AT&T business units to ensure that policy positions support long-term business goals and objectives and business plans take into consideration external influences. + Advocate AT&T public policy positions including through participation in policy discussions at external think tank, regulatory, legislative, and other external forums. Represent AT&T in a variety of forums including industry organizations interacting with Federal agencies on security matters. + Build and maintain relationships with external policy stakeholders, including thought leaders in academia, industry, civil society, government, think tanks, etc. + Negotiation and consensus building among relevant stakeholders including in complex and rapidly evolving multi stakeholder environments. + Work closely with other External Affairs disciplines, to develop, implement, maintain, and as appropriate lead broad strategic campaigns to achieve optimal business outcomes. **Education:** Bachelors or Advanced degree preferred. **Experience** : 5 or more years of experience in cybersecurity and technology policy preferred. **Supervisory:** No. We expect employees to be honest, trustworthy, and operate with integrity.
