We provide the highest level of service and expertise for our customers' implementation, enhancement projects, and post-production support needs. Responsibilities Leads Sage Intacct related projects such as: requirements gathering, future state solution design, implementations, post production support escalations, health checks and gap analysis assessments, and enhancements Supports various Business Transformation projects including (but not limited to): system strategy and selection, process or finance improvement and optimization, operations, or performance improvement, change management, program or project management, data analytics, business analysis Possesses and contributes knowledge of key accounting business processes (eg Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Financial Close, etc.) and identifies and analyzes business problems within the office of the CFO, where analysis requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors Identifies issues, risks, and project team conflicts and develops solutions for timely resolution Defines project strategy, goals, and deliverables that support client goals Reviews status, manage schedules, monitor progress, and prepares status reports to lead meetings and communications with clients Assesses and escalates project issues to leadership and suggests resolutions Proactively partners with CrossCountry's leadership team on internal projects, including but not limited to the following: sales/marketing initiatives, recruiting, training, and organizational development Travel Willingness to travel domestically up to 50% Required Experience & Qualifications 5+ years of relevant experience in finance or accounting with experience in the functional and technical design of multiple modules (eg GL, AP, AR, consolidations, etc.) within a Financial System solution (eg Sage Intacct, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.) Experience developing and formatting data to meet the export/import require-ments as defined by system rules Prior experience in professional services (public accounting or advisory firm), preferably at a large, global accounting firm or with a management consulting firm Prior experience advising commercial companies preferred in one or more of the following areas: finance optimization, operations improvement, business process improvement, change management, program or project management Prior experience managing client and/or internal teams by guiding performance against objectives, creating an atmosphere of trust and collaboration, modeling leadership behaviors, and encouraging continuous improvement/innovation Excellent communication skills required - must develop, implement, and maintain sources of project information, communicating appropriate information to client as well other team members Desired Experience & Qualifications Relevant professional certifications such as PMP, CPA, CIA, CFA, CA, CISA, CISM, CIPP Additional experience in one or more of the following areas: risk (eg internal audit, SOX compliance, governance, etc.), accounting (eg financial reporting, operational accounting, accounting policy, transactions, etc.), business transformation (eg process optimization, finance transformation, change management, operations and performance improvement, etc.) Project management experience, including Agile and Waterfall methodologies Strong attention to detail with the ability to think from a "big picture" perspective Demonstrated track record of establishing credibility both internally and externally Passionate about building, developing, motivating, and leading others Creativity, confidence, and flexibility High energy, enthusiasm, and an entrepreneurial spirit Education Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Accounting, Business, Finance, Information Systems, Information Technology, or other technical discipline #LI-BW1 CrossCountry Consulting provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants and believes that respect and fair treatment are critical to creating a productive, diverse, and inclusive workplace.
