Description Job Description:Leidos is looking for a Emerging Requirements Manager/Project Manager to support a large IT contract at its customer location in Alexandria, VA. This PM role is part of larger team of PMs under the contract's Service Strategy Team. The PM will be responsible for leading the full life-cycle of multiple, simultaneous projects of varying sizes and complexity in support of local and regional (CONUS and OCONUS) requirements. The PM may also have purview over Assessments, Studies, Pilots and Emerging Requirements Management. Candidate must have an active TS/SCI with ability to obtain Poly to be considered. Plan, execute, and close projects that meet or exceed customer objectivesCreate clear and attainable project objectives, build project requirements, and manage constraints of cost, time, scope, and qualityDevelop the overall project plan and manage project operationsManage the project stakeholders, project team, project risk, project schedule, project budget, and project conflictsEnsure team members know and execute their respective roles and the roles of the other team membersEnsure production schedules are met and system resources are used effectivelyCoordinate resolution of project execution issuesEnsures proper relationships are established between customers, teaming partners, and vendors to facilitate the delivery of information technology servicesWorks individually, actively participates on integrated teams, and leads multiple tasks, projects or teams.Oversees and monitors performance, and when required, takes steps to resolve issues.Directs multiple teams through to project completion.Provides briefings to senior leadership and large audiences.Provides guidance and direction to lower level technicians, specialists, and managers. Required/Desired skills:Proficient in using MS Office software suite to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint; MS Project highly desired.Excellent written and oral communication and briefing skills.Critical thinking and analytical skills.Able to multi-task.Must be proactive; anticipate risks and develop mitigations.Strong team leadership skills.General IT infrastructure knowledge/experience desired.Education/Experience: Requires a Bachelors Degree and 4 - 8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2 - 6 years of prior relevant experience.Experience in lieu of degree CANDIDATE MUST REPORT TO WORK EVERY DAY.
