What You ll DoAs a Complexity Management Data Analyst, you ll be part of our Global Operations team located in Towson, MD. This role is part of the team responsible for the reduction of complexity throughout GTS (Global Tools & Storage). This role leads Complexity Management projects supporting the GTS business by leveraging data, drawing insights, building visualization tools and making recommendations to reduce complexity. This role also supports Complexity Management projects including SKU Rationalization projects, Data Collection, Data Analysis, and Financial Analysis. You ll get to: Lead dashboard development that visualizes key performance indicators for Complexity Management initiatives as well as those that support key business requests.Design complex data models that utilize multiple databases.Leverage existing BI tools, including SAP/Business Warehouse, Hive, JDA, Tableau, Alteryx, and Qlikview to develop analysis based upon KPIs devised to reduce complexity. Support Product/Portfolio Management projects as well as optimize existing portfolios based upon analysis of portfolio performance. Support all areas of the Complexity Management team as needed with ad- hoc projects and analysis. Work on multiple types of projects at the same time, ie discovery, concept development and production buildsCollaborate with other groups and departments directly to ensure a successful project.Effectively plan, execute, monitor and control, and close projects using principles, methods, and standard techniques that are appropriate to the specific project. Create and manage an effective project schedule.Generate new techniques, ideas, and solutions that can improve delivery quality, increased efficiency, and reduced waste/downtime.Who You Are You always strive to do a good job but wouldn t it be great if you could do your job and do a world of good? You also have: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science desired. Master s degree is preferred. 0-2 years of experience in data models, data visualization tools, or data harmonization Strong analytical skills and a strong attention to detail are required.Proficient in Qlikview, Tableau, Alteryx, SQL, Hive, Arora DB, R, Kibana, MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Ability to automate manual tasks.Effective communication, both written and oral.Self-motivated and willingness to overcome challengesStrong multi-tasking ability as well as ability to manage deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment Ability to work independently as well as lead teams Ability to recognize and adapt to change High level of enthusiasm and a passion for excellence Excellent organization, personnel management, and matrix management skills.
