Revises existing systems and procedures to correct deficiencies and maintain more effective data handling, conversion, input/output requirements, and storage.Job DescriptionNorthrop Grumman Mission Systems Advanced & Strategic Operations is seeking a Manager with a diverse background of experiences to lead the GSC (Global Supply Chain) Non-recurring ERP Systems department. Specifically, the Manager will lead a team of professionals who are responsible for driving synergies related to the effective deployment and use of common systems and processes across the sector. The GSC Non-recurring ERP Systems Manager must be able to coordinate and manage a group of diverse skills, as well as influence others outside their area of responsibility.The team bridges the gap between the business side of operations (day to day system users) and the Information Technology (IT) department. The team manages the GSC's current and future portfolio of IT projects which includes budgets, schedules, and risk management.The successful candidate will operate in a team environment and collaborate across the sector business areas and often at the enterprise level to accomplish the team goals. They will have a track record as an effective communicator and problem solver who is able to develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Roles and ResponsibilitiesManagement of a direct staff of 3 or more professionalsDefining and implementing ERP systems strategy and development for the operations function in collaboration with other sectors and the enterpriseProviding support for the ERP systems utilized by the sectorOversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between Operations leadership, project teams, and customer stakeholdersEnsures process discipline to meet cost, schedule, and quality commitments to our customersDevelops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solvingLeads the continuous improvement and streamlining of common GSC processesDrives development and maintenance of innovative, responsive analyses, processes, and toolsRepresents GSC in cross-organizational workgroups, communities of practice, project teams, etc.Champions change within the organization to achieve competitive advantage for the businessLeads the planning and execution of special events and assignmentsAbility to create inclusive and diverse teams with engaged team membersAbility to respond effectively to changing events and competing prioritiesAbility to travel domesticallyKey Knowledge and SkillsAdvanced knowledge of supply chain management techniques, practices and theories gained through broad and diverse experienceDecision making that requires evaluation of many alternatives where minimal precedent existsLeading people to set performance standards that are realistic and attainableAbility to coach employees, provide constructive feedback and drive top performanceQualificationsBasic QualificationsBachelor's degree with 9+ years' experience in Global Supply Chain, STEM or IT fieldProject Management or Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) engineering experienceAdvanced knowledge of GSC techniques, practices or theories gained through broad experience, training, and education.Ability to create and maintain trusted relationships with internal customers.Demonstrated success in leading and developing cross functional teamsStrong organizational and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively verbally and in writing, with all levels of management and individual contributors.Ability to travel domesticallyPreferred Qualifications5+ years of team lead and/or management of peopleDemonstrated experience in supply chain ERP systems, planning, and process management - SAP preferredStrong working knowledge of Northrop Grumman's SAP architecture. Knowledge of both ERP1 and ERP1 systems, and interface between systemsExperience in SAP ERP system conversionsManagement Information Systems, Computer Science or related Technical Degree preferredExperience in the Aerospace Industry or working on Defense Acquisition programsUnderstanding of hardware and software requirements, design, development and testing of system integrationsDemonstrated experience in interfacing seamlessly with functional teams and internal customersSalary Range: $144,100.00 - $216,100.00Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay . Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
