Job Summary/Company: Our client, a career services organization, is looking for an extroverted and people-oriented Career Services Job Developer to join its team. This person will work directly with students and graduates of the institute to prepare them for career success.
This position will begin in a fully remote capacity but will eventually transition into an onsite role.

Vaccination against COVID-19 is required for this position.
Responsibilities:
  • Establishes and maintains activities to develop, locate, and secure job openings for students in medical, hospitality and other related programs.
  • Initiates and maintains ongoing contacts with a variety of business and industry representatives and job placement agencies to promote student job placement.
  • Coordinates mock interview and career-building skill sessions.
  • Works with students to create and edit resumes and cover letters.
  • Create a marketing plan that consists of cold calls and employer visits to potential employers.
  • Researches job boards, agencies, and other resources for job leads.
  • Locates jobs for students who have successfully completed training programs.
  • Assists students with internship/externship placement activities.
  • Monitors internship/externship and resolve issues.
  • Collects data from employers related to job orders including job requirements and skills; matches job skills with student qualifications.
  • Refers students to employers and conducts necessary follow-up when applicants are placed in positions.
  • Keeps updated regarding job fairs and Internet resources; develops recruitment ads.
Qualifications/Background Profile:
  • Bachelor's Degree Required
  • Must have at least 3-6 years of professional experience
  • Must have at least one year experience in staffing, career counseling, job development, job placement, employment services
  • At least 6 months plus experience cold calling and/or inside sales experience required
  • Staffing/recruiting industry experience highly desired
  • Proven experience in account management or business development
  • Public speaking experience and solid presentation skills are a must
