Job Summary: Our client, a professional organization representing pharmacists around the country, is looking for a motivated contract Human Resources Coordinator to join its team. This person will support basic recruiting and HR functions such as running background checks, scheduling interviews, and providing administrative support to the HR team.

This position will be a hybrid role - a mix of onsite and remote work.

Vaccination against COVID-19 is required for this position.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and complete background checks.
  • Coordinate and complete reference checks.
  • Post jobs for open positions and remove jobs from job board once filled.
  • Schedule interviews and other meetings as needed.
  • Provide assistance with new hire onboarding as needed.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Human Resources team.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
  • A minimum of 1+ years of progressive Human Resources experience required
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Proficiency with HRIS or ATS platforms
  • Working knowledge of employment law, interviewing techniques, recruitment advertising, recruitment and retention plans, and basic HR functions.
