Responsibilities: What Youll Do.The Talent Acquisition Specialist performs duties at the professional level in the functional area of talent acquisition to include proactive sourcing, recruitment and hiring activities. The ideal incumbent will be a seasoned specialist with proven experience in high volume recruitment, preferably in financial services. The ideal candidate will be an extremely perceptive person, who is capable of building meaningful relationships with candidates and employees at all levels within the organization and has the ability to assess situations while also using a consultative approach to problem solving and execution of activities to business and organizational readiness needs. The Talent Acquisition Specialist must be action-oriented, be a quick and effective learner who is excited about transformational change, and demonstrate natural service and emotional connectedness abilities.Talent Acquisition:Facilitate process to include applicant recruitment and screenings; general and behavioral interviews; vacancy announcements; applicant processing/tracking; application/resume acknowledgement; job fairs; credit reports; background investigations; offer letters; maintain contact with hiring managers throughout recruitment process and during first 90 days of employment.Project Support & Partner Relationships:Serve as the primary point of contact and liaison for university relationships, internship program and temporary staffing partnerships. Partner with talent acquisition team members to drive project work that supports talent campaigns, candidate and on-boarding experience initiatives, and system optimization and efficiencies. Support learning journey to optimize hiring managers abilities to align with employee journey touchpoints. Administrative & Operational Support:Ensure compliance, monitoring and updating of applicant tracking systems; prepare reports, as requested, and distribute key data relating to talent acquisition performance and effectiveness metrics. Qualifications: What Were Looking For.Bachelors degree emphasis in HR, Organizational Development or Communications preferred.Minimum of 3 years of experience in a full-cycle recruitment capacity or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Financial services experience a plus.Experience in working with applicant tracking systems iCIMS experience highly desired as well as web-based conferencing technology.Knowledge of effective talent sourcing strategies.Requires demonstrated knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations governing employment practices, including Title VII, ADA, ADEA, etc.Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills are required to work effectively with all levels of management and employees.Project management experience, with ability to respond to changing priorities.Strong commitment to employees as evidenced by responsive, well-crafted communications via email, phone or in-person; must be service focused.Must have impeccable attention to detail with the ability to analyze data.Demonstrated ability to handle information involving, sensitivity, confidentiality and legal exposure.Be a quick and effective learner who is excited about transformational change.Demonstrate natural leadership and accountability for self and others.Ability and willingness to travel to all locations as required.Intermediate to advanced experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), and internet research skills.PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification preferred.What Youll Get.In addition to never being controlled by outside owners, one of the great perks of joining Team SECU is our total rewards package, which includes:Market competitive payRobust 401(k) retirement savings programGenerous paid leave programsAnd more.SECU 2021 Benefits GuideIf youre interested in a challenging and rewarding career, then SECU is for you!We cant wait to get to know you!
