Human Resource Manager
Responsibilities: This fast-paced,exempt position supports Business Unit Management and all surrounding departments. Planning and managing of all phases of human resources activity including but not limited to recruiting, onboarding, and employee relations. Must be able to positively impact the business unit's results by providing support for all people-related functions in the business.Administer Business Unit Drug and Alcohol Testing Program, performance reviews, and return to work documentation (STD, Military, etc.)Compensation analysis and administrationSupport business unit operations managers and Human Resource with issues regarding employee relationsProcess payroll for all Construction Operation employees on a weekly basisMaintains HRIS records and compiles reports from databaseProcess unemployment claimsMonitors the performance evaluation program and revises as necessary.Conduct new hire orientation to ensure employees gain an understanding of benefits.Full scope of recruiting activities from helping managers determine job skills to screening applications, interviewing, offer, and onboarding via the applicant tracking system.Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, legislation and total alignment to all Allan Myers processes and programs.Providing direction and guidance in support of Allan Myers' values and standards.Perform other related duties as required and assigned.Travel Requirements:This position requires occasional travel to other Business Units across the PA, DE, MD, VA region.Physical Demands:Frequently requires the ability to sit, talk, hear. Requires ability to stand, walk, use hands, fingers, reach, climb, kneel or crouch. Ability to work in outside construction environment with possible exposure to elements (Heat, Cold, Rain).
