Summary

This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.

About the Position: The pay band NH-03 includes the General Schedule grade equivalent to GS-12 to 13. Other initiatives under the Acquisition Demonstration Project include simplified classification, streamlined hiring process and expanded developmental opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate site surveys, logistic support meetings, case planning meetings, etc. necessary to definitize purchaser requirements prior to LOR (Letter of Request).
  • Receives/conducts technical and administrative reviews of LOR (Letter of Request).
  • Prepare internal Case Development Manpower Worksheet and Annual Budget Plan.
  • Prepares pricing and LOA (Letter of Offer and Acceptance) data in coordination with all activities required for pricing of standard and nonstandard items.
  • Coordinate with contractor entities as appropriate to glean required price and availability data to address applicable Contractor Furnished Equipment (CFE).
  • Perform services such as: Configuration Management, Weapons systems management, Systems integration for assigned cases.
  • Prepare and submit Contract Requirements Package (CRP)/acquisition requirements package (ARP), including Contract Data Requirements (CDRLS), Statement of Work (SOW), and Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCE).
  • Prepare briefings and reports to be presented to customer.

  • This position requires DoD Security Cooperation Workforce (SCW) Certification or the incumbent must complete certification-related training requirements within the allotted timeframe.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Specialized experience: Experience providing contract oversight for planning, developing, coordinating, and integrating logistics operations. Experience evaluating guidance, regulations and policies on major logistic support missions. Experience performing oral and/or written presentations on logistic support programs.

Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone-no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
