About the Company and Opportunity: Our client is a non profit who serves members of the community suffering from hunger, homelessness, and poverty. Due to growth, they are looking to hire a temporary Cash Accountant to work in their Baltimore office. There is free street parking around the office in Baltimore City! Overview of the role: This position is temporary and will begin right away after an interview Position is in office and will not be remote Hours are 9am-5pm Monday-Friday Pay rate: $21-24/hour depending on experience Duties of the Cash Accountant: Assist with day to day accounting working with the general ledger, journal entries, and performing reconciliations Assist with AP and AR as needed Run reports Ad hoc tasks as needed Preferred and Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related required 3-4 years' experience with full cycle accounting Must be able to pass a background check and education verification Proficient with Excel- pivot tables and VLOOKUP Experience using Blackbaud Financial Edge a plus Tech savvy- someone who is okay with working completely paperless
