Qualified applicants should be highly motivated, self-starter, multi-tasking, and detail-oriented with a strong interest and knowledge in the fashion/creative industry.Reporting directly to your brand, the Retail Associate role requires an understanding of the brand story as well as its various collections and products. This individual will ultimately be responsible for creating a positive brand experience for our shoppers. The working hours for this role are Wednesday - Sunday, 10:30 am - 6 pm. The Concept 31/M store itself opens at 11 am and closes at 6 pm, but this role is required to arrive 30 minutes early in order to merchandise and ensure the space is tidy. RESPONSIBILITIESManages all retail operations of the pop-up shop within Concept 31/M, including but not limited to merchandising/restocking the retail space, processing sales transactions, processing returns, cycle counts, inventory assessments, notifying ownership of low stock, notifying ownership of best-selling and slow-selling SKUs, and opening and closing the shopMaintain an exceptional level of customer service for customers, encouraging repeat purchases and customer loyaltyAssist with marketing initiatives and pitch potential event ideas to the owner, such as promotions, partnerships with other brands, or partnerships with local influencersREQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEDemonstrate passion and affinity for product, brand, fashion, and trendsDemonstrates willingness, aptitude, and initiative to learn about products, brands, fashion, and trendsStrive to improve individual performance while working as a productive member of the teamCreative mindset and social media savvy with immediate knowledge of social media marketingA minimum of 2 years of retail industry experience, preferably in a management roleImpeccable verbal and written communication skillsExcellent interpersonal, relationship-building, and customer service skillsFamiliarity with basic POS systemsFlexibility to work weekends and holidaysNEXT STEPSInterested parties should send a cover letter, resume, and the names/emails of 2 professional references (preferably from past retail roles) to firstname.lastname@example.org.
