Duties and Responsibilities:Oversee and manage annual budgeting and planning process, administer, and review all financial plans and budgets; coordinate project/program level accounting and P&L, monitor progress, changes, and variances.Responsible for monthly/quarterly/annual closes. Create monthly financial reports and quarterly financial summaries for quick and accurate snap shots of the company's financial status.Manage the company's financial accounting, budget, General Ledger, AP/AR, cash receipts/payments, payroll, and financial assets.Co-ordinate and lead all external audits, yearly financial, GSA, 401(k), worker's compensation, DCAA, etc.Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.Prepare, and manage organizational cash flow and forecasting.Monitor and analyze financial accounting data; create ad hoc analysis reports and projects as needed for management.Update and implement all necessary business policies and accounting practices; improve the accounting/finance department's overall policy and procedure manual.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.Minimum Year of Experience: 8+ years of experience in a Senior Accounting and Finance role with a Federal government contractor supporting firm fixed price (FFP), time and material (T&M), and cost plus (CP) contracts across multiple agencies and locations.Advanced skills and significant experience with Deltek Costpoint.Must have solid knowledge of general accounting principles and practices along with specific Federal contract accounting experience, GSA pricing/audits, cost accounting standards and FAR/DFARs knowledge.Preferred Skills and Experience:Experience with hands-on preparation and review of provisional indirect rates, incurred cost submissions, pre-award audit support, and creation of forward pricing rates for proposal.Able to maintain excellent relations with external and internal clients.Strong skills in financial modeling (Excel), pricing, preparing & presenting business cases.Working knowledge of ISO 9001 as applicable to finance and accounting.
