We're always on the lookout for fun, hard-working new people to join our team and make Loot Crate even better!As an Senior Accountant on the Finance team, you will assist with the Company's royalty accounting and reporting processes, as well as assist with general ledger maintenance, the preparation and maintenance of the related account reconciliations, calculations and schedules, and the monthly and annual financial statement processes. Our ideal candidate would enjoy working with a close team in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities Process and compile data for the periodic royalty reports Prepare royalty reports (monthly, quarterly, annually, as required per the related licensing agreements) Calculate royalties payable for the reporting period Interpret and analyze license agreements, with guidance from the licensing team, to ensure proper royalty accounting Communicate with licensors with status updates and questions in a timely manner Assist the licensing team in providing royalty performance and analysis reports Prepare and/or assist with ad hoc monthly management reports Assist in improving the royalty reporting process Assist the Finance team with its general accounting functions, including but not limited to AP, AR, bank transactions, general ledger, reconciliations, and sales and use taxes Assist the Finance team with its preparation, review, and analysis of the periodic financial statements and supporting schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness Support monthly forecasting, annual budgeting, and strategic planning. Perform relevant key performance indicators (KPI) analysis Work with internal departments and external auditors Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requestedQualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting or relevant degree(Experience in Royalty Accounting is preferable) Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience Strong proficiency in MS Excel is required Experience with Sage preferred Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment Strong communication and analytical skills and attention to detail Self-motivated team playerIf you feel that the Senior Accountant position is a good match for you, please be sure to submit your resume to us today for immediate consideration.
