Job Description: Engineer, design and maintain WAN, LAN, UPS and Environment monitoring system for DC headquarters facility and 52 field offices. Install, Configure, and troubleshoot network equipment including Cisco ISE, over 250 Cisco routers, switches, VPN and firewall appliances. Support the data center in Washington, DC, co-located hub site in Baltimore field office and 51 field offices. Work with local IT Support on the computer room operations and LAN in all the field offices. Coordinate with local ITS and service providers to maintain, troubleshoot and upgrade on a need base for the EEOC Verizon MPLS wide area network. Support Internet connection, Remote Access VPN for users and LAN-to LAN IPSec connections to partner networks and dedicated WAN connection, eg vendor hosted site and Microsoft ExpressRoute connection. Design, deploy and utilize network management systems. Manage the network with the monitoring system including Solarwinds Orion network Performance Monitoring System, Netflow and Configuration manager. Create and update network architecture documents and network drawings on a regular basis. Perform network troubleshooting. Coordinate, support and problem solving for and with other OIT teams. Provide timely support in responding to OIT ServiceNow ticketing system in supporting end users' support requests.Required SkillsMust have knowledge in: Cisco ASA/Firepower firewall Cisco ASA AnyConnect VPN Cisco ISE support for NAC, VPN connection, Wireless AP and integration with the Microsoft AD.
