The Learning & Development Program Lead will carry out the development of a comprehensive training strategy, methodology, programs and curriculum for leadership and management development, employee development, and professional and technical skill development. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. A cents € cents Assist with designing the learning and development strategy for the organization. Implement and manage the strategy. A cents € cents Lead the design of job specific orientation/training programs for new hires. A cents € cents Collaborate with business units and subject matter experts to analyze, design, develop, implement and evaluate learning solutions and define learning objectives. A cents € cents Ensure consistent learning practices across the organization to achieve economies of scale and effective transfer of critical knowledge and skills. A cents € cents Identify appropriate and effective instructional strategies and modalities (instructor led classroom, webinars, self-paced e-learning, outsourced seminars). A cents € cents Develop and maintain consistent training materials, including participant guides, facilitator guides, reference materials, exercises and handouts, and course evaluations. A cents € cents Deliver and facilitate learning activities as needed. A cents € cents Develop and maintain standard metrics to create evaluation tools and continuously evaluate the effectiveness of learning and development initiatives. Develop alternative learning initiatives if expected results are not achieved. A cents € cents In collaboration with HR Business Partners, conduct ongoing needs analysis to identify soft skill training and professional/leadership development needs, as well as knowledge/skill gaps and performance-related issues. A cents € cents Work closely with business units and HR Business Partners to measure effectiveness of training, assess ROI, and modify programs as needed to enhance value. A cents € cents Gather and analyze appropriate data and make data driven recommendations and decisions. A cents € cents Manage vendor relationships with outsourced learning content providers. SKILLS & ABILITIES: A cents € cents Education/Experience: Bachelors" Degree in Instructional Design/Technology, Human Performance Improvement, Adult Learning, or related field and a minimum of 3 years" related experience, including at least 1 year Designing and Developing Comprehensive Training Programs, including sales training, in a corporate training environment, with one year of supervisory experience required; or any equivalent combination of education and experience. A cents € cents Ability to partner effectively with individuals from all levels across the organization; must possess knowledge of current best practices in employee development, performance management, and human performance improvement. A cents € cents Computer Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint). Prior experience with learning management systems and content authoring tools (articulate, captivate) A cents € cents Licenses and Certifications: applicable training and/or organizational development certification preferred.
