The Manager, Digital Sales is responsible for managing and providing strategic direction for a sales team and for driving the organization"s sales revenue through a large volume of transactions. The candidate selected will be required to use his/her knowledge and skills to manage an outbound call center with an emphasis on the development of reps, with a solution based/consultative selling approach.The successful candidate will formulate, recommend and implement policies and programs in the area of tele-sales in conjunction with existing small, medium and large size broker relationships to generate revenue through sales to agents. This role will also identify markets for products and services, as well as hire and train a telephone based sales force. This position is expected to manage and develop the tele-sales teams, and provide strategic planning and direction for the department. This position will report to the Senior Manager of Sales and will require constant interaction with other business partners in the Sales Organization.Duties And ResponsibilitiesDirects and motivates sales representatives who engage with prospective customers, educates them on existing solutions and communicate the value of solutionsGenerates revenue through mainly outbound tele-sales, engaging with mid-size Realtor, agent and broker accounts and getting them to commit to our lead subscription servicesImproves metrics on sales and closing ratios and optimize sales cycle managementExecute against a data driven tele-sales plan to enhance the relationship and generate salesBring initiatives to the Marketing and Sales Operations Teams, to develop and share strategies to, establish, lead programsBring recommendations to the Customer Care Department to ensure training needs of customers are being metBring recommendations for hiring, training, and development of an inside tele-sales organizationKeep Senior Management appraised through verbal and documented reports on sales volume, competitive activity, growth and expansion progressSkills And ExperienceRequires experience developing and managing a tele-sales business model with quick implementation of this strategyExperience selling internet based advertising/technology products in a highly competitive online advertising market preferredProven ability to be hands-on, in the trenches, handling customer objections and closing dealsSignificant sales and sales management experience in business-to-business salesExperience getting Sales Representatives to adhere to scripting and has a proven track record of generating revenue for Sales Organizations.The ability to be a strong and effective personal motivator of inside sales professionalsExperience with CRM and using metrics to assess progress and successRequires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skillsWillingness to work a flexible schedule and travel as necessaryAbout Realtor.comAt realtor.comA' (R), we believe that everyone deserves a home of their own.
