Full timeResponsible for managing relationships with existing client base, driving account usage and actively developing opportunities to expand product sales within existing clients through regular and frequent client visits.PrimaryResponsibilities:Builds and manages relationships with existing client base through regular and frequent face-to-face meetings with clients at customer sites.Drives account usage and actively develops opportunities to expand product sales within existing clients.Develops innovative strategies and tactics to promote usage and growth within accounts.Holds primary responsibility for revenue growth within existing accounts - to that end, seeks out, finds and conducts onsite demonstrations of BGOV to potential users as well as follow-up meetings and calls to drive towards closure.Meets revenue targets for new business from existing accounts and maintains a robust pipeline of opportunities.Meets revenue targets for each account via renewal, upgrades and new business sales.Attends and participates in customer meetings, often at client sites, serving as primary point of contact for training and responding to client questions.Conducts e-mail campaigns incidental to in-person customer outreach.Attends local networking events on a regular and frequent basis to enhance outside sales opportunities.Regularly visits potential customers and schedules on-site demos/meetings.Prepares customer profile documents for sales presentation.Submits data to Contracting to obtain contracts for customers as adjunct to outside sales efforts.Manages initial on-site training for new customers.Monitors customer engagement through regular and frequent client visits.Shares and communicates potential sales opportunities in other customer segments to appropriate sales channels and business units.Arranges regular and recurring customer visits and provides enhanced training to insure usage and cultivate future sales opportunities.Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.Job Requirements:Knowledge of Government market is a requirement (either selling within it, or working in it).Requires knowledge of Capitol Hill/Legislative/US Senate or Government Contracts depending on specialty area.Strong consultative sales and client relations skills.Knowledge of the government, marketplace and sales acquisitions process.Must have an entrepreneurial mind set and outgoing nature.Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills to effectively communicate value proposition to leaders in the public and private sectors.Must be a confident and personable self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.Minimum 3+ years of account management or sales experience OR experience working in a congressional office.Based on specialty area, understanding and relationships with the government affairs or government contracting markets is a plus.Must travel to customer locations on a regular and frequent basis.SpecialRequirements:N/ABloomberg Industry Group IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER and fully subscribes to the principles of Equal Employment Opportunity.
