The Manager of Warehouse/Inventory Operations & E-Commerce Fulfillment is responsible for helping the store exceed sales plan and profitability targets through the management of inventory and packaging supplies and e-commerce order processing and fulfillment. This position will work closely with a warehouse assistant(s), fiscal analyst, buyer(s)s, e-commerce coordinator, store managers and concessions supervisor(s) + staff and volunteers, director, and as needed with customers on the sales floor, while directing and performing a variety of duties related to receiving, warehousing, inventory distribution, shipping and e-commerce order processing and fulfillment in coordination with supervising warehouse assistants and volunteers. Duties andResponsibilities30% Inventory and Supply Receiving and Shipping. Direct, oversee and maintain inventory and supply receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating and managing warehouse operations following and/or establishing/implementing/documenting policies and procedures, working with Buyer(s), Managers/Supervisors, Warehouse Assistant(s), E-Commerce Coordinator, and Fiscal Analyst staff. Receive and log + enter receipts, oversee product labelling, transport and storage, and troubleshoot and correct errors in receipts and inventory. Ensure that all processes and procedures are documented and regularly updated. 25% Stocking and restocking all retail locations. Monitor inventory levels and inventory accuracy for all locations and enter receipts and adjustments into point of sale inventory management system, ensuring cost prices are up to date and Buyer(s) is notified of discrepancies and damages on a timely basis. 15% E-Commerce order processing, fulfillment and customer service following and/or updating as needed, documented processes and procedures. Supervise and assist warehouse assistant(s) with e-commerce order processing and fulfillment using the shop POS system, e-commerce platform, shipper websites and other systems and portals. Produce monthly sales and shipping reports to measure and manage e-commerce profitability. 10% Warehouse set up and management. Ensure the security of warehouse operations and inventory. Take a lead position in annual physical inventory process, as well as daily management of inventory counts and audits including regular cycle counts for inventory with problems that are high-shrink. Maintain physical condition of warehouse and storage rooms, including design layout, organization and cleanliness, and issuing work orders for repairs. Maintain stockroom locations in inventory management database (POS). Supervise warehouse assistants in managing the levels of retail packaging supplies and reorders as needed. 10% Responsibility for the supervision, guidance, coaching and evaluation of all warehouse personnel and volunteers. Plan and coordinate staff scheduling to meet the business needs by arranging alternate work schedules as needed during the course of the year 5% Event set up. Coordinate with warehouse associate(s), Buyer(s), Visual Merchandiser, Manager(s) and Supervisor(s) for all on-site and off-site events and trunk shows. 5% Other duties as assigned. N/A Responds to the needs and requests of Kennedy Center management and staff in a professional and expedient manner; Adheres to all employer policies and procedures KeyQualificationsBachelor's degree in business or related field and/or 5 years of retail warehousing experience, including supervisory responsibilities. Skills & KnowledgeQualificationsFamiliar with point of sale inventory management systems. Familiar with Microsoft Office applications (Word and Excel). Strong supervisory and communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to meet deadlines with accuracy and timeliness. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced and busy work environment. Good mathematical skills, written, and verbal skills, and the ability to respond to vendors, staff, and shippers in a friendly and positive manner. Must be a self-starter. Must be able to quickly learn and teach staff new systems and procedures and have comfort level with and using technology. Understanding invoicing and shipping statements. Knowledge of shipping procedures for all shippers (Fedex, UPS, USPS). Know the staffing and manpower needed to meet dynamic retail business needs. Skilled at setting up and breaking down display fixtures for events and programs. Infrequent Travel up to 2% to off-site events is required. Teamwork is paramount to the retail operations culture.
