DESCRIPTION: We are seeking an experienced Director of Enterprise Applications to join our award-winning company. As the Director of Enterprise Applications, you will partner with all of our business leaders and key stakeholders around the organization to oversee and lead the internal IT administrative application systems operations, optimization and strategy. This person will lead a highly motivated team of Oracle eBusiness Suite and Service Now business analyst, developers and administrators. This role will develop and lead the execution of programs that drive advancement, compliance, and efficiency of our global business applications & systems and create governance and cross-functional leadership of IT technology to drive business innovation, improve data flows and reduce tool and application overlap.RESPONSIBILITIES:Develop holistic technology strategy and advise business stakeholders on strategic direction and IT initiatives.Create/define enterprise architecture, technology roadmaps and ensure business and IT alignment.Translate business requirements into functional designs and technical specifications, including data and process flows, integrations, vendor requirements, and regulatory compliance.Develop and maintain a current/future state architecture that aligns to business goals and ensures strong customer focused service. Collaborate with multiple IT infrastructure teams to integrate IT & business systems to reduce data duplication and improve overall process and data flows.Develop in-depth knowledge of strategic, tactical, and operational business requirements and document those solutions and required Service Level Agreements.Investigate, understand and advise on industry trends and emerging technologies. Develop plans for adoption where appropriate.Demonstrate leadership and influence skills across all organizational levels and function.Realize reduction and simplification of licensing and tooling through standardization and effective guidance of purchasing as part of technology supported projects.Build and manage teams charged with the delivery of on premise and cloud based Enterprise Applications, including Oracle eBuisiness Suite and Service Now, along with any supporting auxiliary and integration platforms, such as SOA, Oracle Integration Cloud and OBIEE.Manage a portfolio of projects and initiatives, ensuring the overall program is aligned to and directly supports the achievement of strategic objectives. Oversee all enterprise application operations, including auxiliary applications and evaluate system health according to established vendor best practices. Devise and establish system support policies and procedures to support the implementation of strategies set by executive management.Partner with business to analyze the business requirements and design systems which support their technology needs.Work with management to purchase efficient and cost effective technological equipment and software.Inspect the use of enterprise applications, including databases, integration platforms and applications to ensure functionality and efficiency.Identify, plan, communicate and execute upgrades, patches and configuration changes needed to maintain stability and security of enterprise systems.Manage the day-to-day operations of the functional and technical team, including directing staff who support computing, user services, and other information technology functions.Control budget and report on expenditures for department and projects.Provide ongoing visibility into the health of online applications and opportunities for improvement through testing and other means.Lead efforts to engage in motivation and morale building activities and initiatives for Applications Team.The ideal candidate will be very knowledgeable in industry best practices for the software development lifecycle and well versed in the intricacies of Oracle e-Business Suite (EBS) and Service Now. They will have a solid technical background while being able to build, manage and motivate a complex functional and technical team. The ideal candidate will also be experienced in creating and implementing policies and procedures that will meet strategic and compliance objectives. This individual will apply proven communication and problem-solving skills to solve myriad issues related to the deployment of mission-critical systems, in support of the Iron Bow mission. QUALIFICATIONS:15+ years IT leadership experience, preferably in a technical organization, architecting, and designing technology solutions in an innovative and realistic manner that focuses on holistic designs with high level of user satisfaction while maintaining overall security and compliance.Direct 7+ years of Oracle eBusiness Suite experience with strong knowledge of the technical support structure necessary for this application and its auxiliary systemsExperience working in a structured/regulated environment (SOX, ISO27001, NIST, FedRamp, PCI, etc)BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering or another related technology degreeDemonstrated experience in cloud delivery, both in IaaS and SaaS modules.
