Responsible for research, literature review, data analysis, financial analysis, contract review, audits, meeting coordination and report development for projects. Responsible for reporting to committees as job dictates. Within area of expertise and with minimal supervision, collaborates independently with all levels of customers at JHHC personnel, including but not limited to providers, vendors, and delegates. Responsible to ensure appropriate, timely staff training and ongoing education and will serve as a preceptor. Responsible for the development and implementation of policies and procedures. Able to perform under minimal supervision all administrative and customer service functions associated with the QI department as well as the development and implementation of audit tools used to measure staff performance based upon JHHC policy, regulatory and accreditation standards. Will work collaboratively and in conjunction with the QI Manager, Accreditation to support plan expectations including productivity standards, quality member service. Education Associates degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred. Course of study should relate to job function. Knowledge Must exhibit thorough knowledge of the quality improvement process, customer service, and complaints and grievances, in addition to familiarity with medical terminology, the managed care process and accreditation and regulatory standards and principles. Must have at least one year of previous supervisory experience. Skills Possesses extensive analytic skills, statistical aptitude and ability to perform audits and provide analysis of the data in order to support the quality improvement process. Requires ability to be detail-oriented, organized and prioritize work to meet deadlines. Work requires written report development and the ability to present to internal and external audiences. Ability to work both independently and as a member of the JHHC team. Must possess planning and organizational skills and be detail-oriented and organized. Must demonstrate ability to accept and institute change. Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills to interact with all levels of company personnel, consultants and customers, including members and providers. Ability to plan, organize and run a team meeting. Ability to take accurate meeting minutes and follow up on action items as a result of meetings. Prior experience, proficiency and/or ability to work independently with PC applications required. Prior use and skill with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Power Point and Access) to support quality improvement projects. Knowledge or ability to learn and work within multiple systems programs such as Business Objects, Facets, and HealthSuite. Work Experience Minimum 3 years of experience in a managed care, business or healthcare environment with proven skills in data analysis, reporting and project coordination. Accreditation and regulatory compliance experience. Requires 1-2 years of supervisory experience. Machines, Tools, Equipment Must be able to operate general office and communications equipment.
