Quality Assurance Manager
Analytica is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to support multiple program and management functions for a federal government services firm in Bethesda, MD. Analytica has been recognized by Inc. As a core member of the operations team, you'll work with a diverse group of professionals to assist program managers and directors with quality program delivery and mitigating risk through the adherence to policies and procedures. In this position you will be evaluating, planning, and implementing improvements in business processes and practices of the integrated business management system designed to improve quality, reduce errors and design new business processes as appropriate. Other aspects of this position may include team building and group facilitation, compiling and tracking data, and preparing training materials. Able to work with little supervision, work with management, and internal work teams to gather and analyze information and make recommendations for program management and process improvement. Responsibilities include (But Are Not Necessarily Limited To):Manage processes and procedures within the organization to ensure current practices are accurately documented, continuous metric management, and clear accountability for process ownership.Prepare for and lead internal and external audits of program management and operational systems. Manage the continuous improvement process for processes including internal audits of adherence and related corrective action, process improvement submission and implementation, and impact analyses. Leads maintenance of Analytica systems for quality standards (ISO 9001:2015, ISO 27000, ISO 20000-1 and CMMI-Dev ML3), and other internal policies and industry best practices. Maintains and organizes updates to QMS and project management repository as neededSchedule and facilitate Management Reviews with a strategic eye toward corporate risk management and appropriate escalation.Facilitates meetings with various groups across the organization (Senior Management, Project Delivery groups, Administrative teams, etc.) to review quality assurance measures, review process improvements, discuss organizational goals and progress, review gaps in quality measures, and facilitate knowledge sharing.Organize, evaluate, plan, and implement improvements in business and project management processes.Compile and track data.Prepare and implement trainings, both internal and external.Provides inputs to and reviews contract deliverables as appropriate Qualifications Include4 - 6 years of experience in operational quality assurance, acquisition management, program management and/or contract management for federal IT service contracts.Formal training and experience in internal auditing. Working knowledge of ISO 9001, 20000-1 and 27000 quality standards.Working knowledge of CMMI-Dev model service model. Experience in project management and keen understanding of how to recognize project risks.Experience reviewing technical and/or process related documentation.Desired Skills:Professional Project Management certification from a recognized institution is desiredExperience as a CMMI appraisal team member.Possess a creative mindset and the ability to approach a problem creatively.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with multiple levelsStrong IT skills.A meticulous approach to work.Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of processes Ability to be flexible in a fast-paced environment.Ability to work both autonomously with limited direction as well as in a team settings.
