Gridiron IT is seeking an HR/Executive Assistant local to Centreville, VA. Job Summary: The HR/Executive Assistant's responsibilities would be approximately 60% Human Resources, 30% Executive Administrator (for 3 Executives) and 10% Office Administrator. Human Resource Administration * Responsible for onboarding and offboarding activities; to include preparing new hire paperwork and conducting exit interviews. * Respond to unemployment claims and prepare employee verification requests. * Maintains employee files, initiates background screenings, and conducts routine file audits. * Conduct New Hire Orientation * Create job postings, route job requisition requests for approval, schedule interviews and conduct phone screens. * Provide employee support with basic questions regarding employee policies, benefits, and payroll. * Other HR Administration duties as assigned. Executive Assistant/Office Administration * Develop a general awareness of organizational requirements and challenges and use initiative to anticipate and resolve issues and provide solutions as required. * Manage executive calendars and travel arrangements, ensuring prompt attendance at all relevant meetings and anticipating schedule conflicts, preparation and travel time, and other similar events which might impact schedule. * Complete expense reports. * Order/track office supplies and equipment; to include scheduling office equipment maintenance requests for the Centreville office. * Maintain the office condition. * Notarize documents as needed. * Distribute mail and prepare outgoing mailings/shipments. * Provide general support to visitors. * Plan on-site and off-site events; to include ordering lunches. * Other office and administrative support duties as assigned. Knowledge and Experience: * 3+ years in an administrative support role to include booking travel (Required) * 1+ year of HR administration experience (Preferred) * Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion. * Proven experience building effective work relationships with diverse individuals and groups, internally and externally, and creating a welcoming and productive business environment. Skills and Abilities: * Ability to prioritize workload and multitask and have a demonstrated strong work ethic. * Ability to hold information in strict confidence. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Detail orientated, highly organized, proactive and strong judgement skills. * Ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail while working in a fast-paced environment * Intermediate MS Office Experience to include Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. * Ability to learn HRIS (ADP WorkforceNow)#zr
