This position is located at the Government Accountability Office (GAO), Information Systems and Technology Services (ISTS), Enterprise Architecture and Application Group (EAAG). EAAG is responsible for the GAO's Enterprise Architecture and development and maintenance of Applications that support the agency.

As aInformation Technology Specialist (SYSANALYSIS), PT-2210-3your typical work assignments may include the following:

- Serves as a lead in to the development and implementation of the Cloud migration strategy for EAAG's enterprise applications working with GAO's Cloud Center of Excellence team.

- Oversees the application development and maintenance support for enterprise applications running at GAO Network, vendor sites, Federal Shared Service Provider, and/or Cloud Service Providers such as AWS, Azure.

- Collaborates with stakeholders in GAO program offices to identify strategic objectives, goals, and long range plans for the evolution of mission critical enterprise applications; and develops conceptual system designs; security plans and privacy impact assessments.

- Manages and support DevOps process and tools to support Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment as well as coordination across IT teams for on-going Operation & Maintenance (O&M) support of all EAAG applications.

- Develops project proposals, business cases, work initiation documentation, system requirements and quality assurance plans.

You may qualify at the BAND III level, if you fulfill the following qualification requirement:

Applicants must have 1 year (52 weeks) of specialized experience at the next lower band or level equivalent to the GS-13 in the Federal Service, or comparable private/public sector experience which has equipped the applicant with the skills and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience is defined as experience leading Cloud and application development, management and support, managing Cloud for applications, support transition of application to Cloud, development and release of application to Cloud and Operation and Maintenance of applications on Cloud.
