Responsibilities

  • Prepare and deliver all infant feeding a ordered by the medical provider.
  • Verify all new revised, or questionable infant feeding orders with a registered dietitian, bedside nurse, or charge nurse for accuracy.
  • Use correct and accurate techniques and equipment to measure powders and liquids.
  • Maintain daily records of patient profiles or updates computerized patient profile regarding infant formula orders.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least six months of general experience such as progressively responsible clerical office, or other work that indicates ability to acquire the particular knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of the GS-04 position to be filled and at least six months of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-03 level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector:
  • Preparing and delivering infant feeds as directed by the medical provider;
  • Maintaining records of patient profiles for infant formula orders;
  • Labeling and packaging infant formula feedings with established procedures;
  • Maintaining and keeping inventory for the infant feeding room stock.
Or
  • Successful completion of two (2) years of study that included at least 12 semester hours in subjects related to the position.
