The Duke & the Duckis seeking an outstandingJunior Strategistto help our clients tell their stories and meet their marketing goals.You'll work on campaigns that are digital and social at the core, but can extend into all media. Your clients will be small-medium businesses, tech products, non-profits, and associations.Joining a small team, you will have direct accessthe founding partnersand work closely with everyone in the company. Functionally, this position willact as asupporting role between creative, account, and strategy.This is an exciting opportunity for a confident, organized, self-starter with experience in research, social media, analytics, marketing, and project/account management, to work in a fast paced environment on various projects.Desired Skills & Experience:Excellent written and verbal communication skills. REQUIRED.Outstanding research and analysis skills and experience. REQUIRED.Incredible organizational instincts and skills. REQUIRED.Passion for data, and finding insights in information.Demonstrated skill in communicating data insights in a presentable form.Success in developing big ideas that forge strong emotional connections between brand and consumer.A demonstrated passion for social media and knowledge of how to leverage it to achieve marketing goals.Innate curiosity, aptitude and hands-on approach. You understand and search out better understanding of what makes things tick (from marketing, brands, advertising, communications, culture, economy, people, etc) to find core customer insights that take complex business challenges and turn them into simple solutions that drive overall brand engagement and get results.Passion for rolling up your sleeves and actually delivering great work.Demonstrated ability to build relationships (internally and with clients).Great storyteller/presenter, and ability to find the story within the data.2+ yearsworking on communication and marketing.
