To be considered for this role you will have 10+ years experience in industrial controls systems and project management. SERVICES TO BE PERFORMED* Manage scope of Building Management System (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring System (EPMS) for construction of AWS data centers by vendors.* Manage multiple stakeholder deliverables, requirements and navigate difficult situations.* Financially manage BMS and EPMS construction contracts, and assist in procurement related activities including RFQs, responding to RFIs, review of vendors proposal and in issuance of purchase orders.* Act as the owner"s representative with ability to facilitate cross-functional collaboration between teams.* Review and provide feedback on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) drawings.* Work under tight project timelines.* Perform comprehensive review of various BMS and EPMS submittals* Ensure data center controls are deployed in accordance with scope of work (SOW) and specifications.* Attend project related meetings, coordinate with project leaders and regularly report status to Controls Management.* Work under tight project timelines.* Travel to local sites for supervision of Controls vendor"s work.* Interpret controls drawings and wiring diagrams.* Interpret controls bill of material (BOM).* Understand and modify controls logic programming.* Understand and modify graphical user interface.* Support Controls related Commissioning activities in field.REQUIRED SKILLS* BS/BA degree with 10+ years of relevant controls work experience or AS and 6 years of relevant controls work experience* Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent.* Ten or more (10) years of experience in project management (preferably in Controls domain) and/or technical management, preferably as Owner.* Experience with industrial controls in critical facilities environments (data center, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, oil & gas, petrochemical, laboratory, power, water etc.).* Knowledge of electrical and/or mechanical systems.* Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.* Demonstrated understanding of engineering documentation, electrical diagrams and standard operating procedures.* Excellent communication skills, teamwork, organizational and problem-solving skills.Disqualifiers/Red Flags:* Less than 10 years of Project Management experience would be a disqualifier.* No Understanding of controls or data centers would be a disqualifier.* No project experienceIf you are interested in this Controls Engineer position please apply via the 'apply now' link provided.
