Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations (OBO). The (live, not proposal) position is for an in progress project and starts in March/April. Position r equires a US Govt. Secret Security Clearance. The Project $160M 14 Acre New US Embassy Compound (NEC) New Office Building (NOB) and Support Annex (SPX) Marine Security Guard Residence (MSGR) Entry Pavilion Community Facilities and Swimming pool Parking Structure (PKG) and Perimeter Security Walls Roads, Security Entrance Gates and Landscaping. Project Duration is 20 months. Housing and transportation allowances provided. Uplift includes 10% of base salary as well as 10% COLA Full benefits included (medical, dental, vision, 30 days paid time off a year, paid round trip flights home every months on assignment) Position Description Provide full range of critical engineering, construction quality assurance, and technical oversight. Perform technical inspections of electrical work, monitor construction contractor's quality control program, and review project drawings to ensure compliance. Observe onsite construction and determine if construction elements are being installed, formed, and executed properly. Monitor construction progress with regard to project schedule and submit weekly progress reports with recommendations based on technical review of project documents and field inspections. Experience with medium and low voltage equipment as well as telephone and fire alarm systems. Requirements US Govt.
