Our success is attributed to exceeding our customers expectations by providing products and services which offer a superior value proposition, striving to create a great working environment for our employees and driving continuous process improvement initiatives.Core ValuesThe culture at Filamatic is built on our shared core values-ethical, team-oriented, continuous improvement, trust, golden rule standard (we treat others as we want to be treated ourselves), excellence- (we strive for excellence individually and expect the same from our colleagues and support our employees to improve their skills and talents), customer centric and a healthy and safe work environment.If you are interested in making an impact with a growing company and want to share ideas and help build a world class organization this is the company to join.Staff AccountantAssist the Controller with the day-to- day, monthly and year-end operations of the Accounting/ Finance Department including budget review and analysis.Process and record accounts payable transactions and ensure that all invoices and staff reimbursements are paid accurately and in accordance with Finance policies and procedures.Perform general accounts analysis and reconciliations, including bank statements, fixed assets, employers benefit costs, accruals and prepaid expenses.Support timely monthly, quarterly, half-year, and year-end financial close, including assigned journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliations, accruals, and overall maintenance of all operational management accounts.Prepare special financial reports as requested by management by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and cash receipts.Assists with report enhancements and modifications, coordinating with other team members as needed.Inventory valuation analysis and assist in physical inventory count at year end.Answers accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data.Works on special projects as requested and all other duties as assigned.Filamatic provides reasonable accommodation for qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job.Education and ExperienceBachelors degree in accounting, business accounting, or finance.Cost accounting background and experience preferred.Experience within a manufacturing environment would be beneficial.Experience with a large ERP software also desired.Required Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesDetail oriented, ability to multitask, prioritize, and organize efficiently.Familiarity with accounting and corporate finance principles and procedures.Ability and willingness to maintain strict confidentiality.Ability to establish and maintain positive and effective work relationships with coworkers and internal clients, members, providers and customers.Strong Excel skills .Travel Requirement Not applicablePhysical RequirementsAbility to be stationary for long periods; ability to communicate effectively.Environmental Conditions Moderate noise level.May be required to enter plant and adhere to safety procedures.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment, transfer or promotion without regard to race, color, religion, gender, national origin, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, or veteran status. by Jobble
