Job Description

The Performance Coordinator will manage campaign performance for WP Creative Group custom content programs. The optimal candidate is obsessed with the ever-changing nature of the media landscape and is determined to help drive revenue for The Washington Post by proving ROI for our partners. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with Client Partners, Analytics, Product, Client Services, Ad Operations, Production, Design, and Research to create engaging, complex data stories and demonstrate success to our clients. The Performance Coordinator will report to the Performance Management Supervisor for the WP Creative Group.

Responsibilities include:
  • Continuously monitor campaign performance, and identify and communicate recommendations for optimizations
  • Utilize various analytic systems (Google Analytics, MOAT, DOMO) to build reporting, monitor performance and identify trends
  • Provide campaign reporting to clients on a weekly, bi-weekly or monthly basis
  • Build wrap-up analysis reporting, pulling in various sets of performance data and metrics, to demonstrate campaign success to clients and recommend best practices for future programs
  • Present to clients on a consistent basis (kick-off calls, mid-campaign reports and wrap-up reports)
  • Partner with internal teams to request optimizations to boost campaign performance
  • Work across internal teams to cultivate and share data that helps shape creative decisions and best practices for the WP Creative Group
  • Identify tracking details for content releases, work with development team on implementation and QA as needed
  • Other duties as assigned


Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2+ years of data analytics experience, with a strong preference for experience in media/publishing industry
  • A strong quantitative, creative, and problem-solving mindset
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize projects, and meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Experience with third party reporting platforms (Google Analytics preferred)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills necessary, with strong presentation skills a plus
  • Capable of working proactively with multiple departments to achieve results
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, MS Word and Excel a must
