Summary

The Marketing Branch falls under the Marketing Division, located in the Sales and Marketing Directorate of the United States Mint, a bureau of the Department of the Treasury. The Marketing Branch is responsible for developing and implementing a large, national and multi-channel annual performance marketing plan to drive ecommerce and catalog sales.

Responsibilities

As a/an MARKETING SPECIALIST (DIGITAL STRATEGIST), you will:
  • Take lead to drive the development and execution of highly integrated product launch marketing plans, including identification of target audiences, key messaging, product positioning, and setting clear and measurable goals and objectives.
  • Work with internal and agency experts to propose channels, tactics and budgets that best align with intended target audiences and will most effectively deliver on measurable goals and objectives.
  • Continually analyze and interpret performance data to optimize strategies and tactics that most cost effectively deliver on measurable goals and objectives.
  • Drive strategy and execution of lifecycle marketing to onboard, retain, and grow loyalty and average lifetime value;

  • Qualifications

    You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.

    For the GS-14, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal Service. Specialized experience for this position includes:

    -Manages the development and execution of marketing plans to achieve customer acquisition and revenue goals; and
    -Leads in the developing and executing of marketing plans, which includes identifying target audiences, key messaging, and product positioning; and
    -Proposes marketing channels, tactics, and budgets that best align with the intended targeted audiences; and
    -Interprets and analyzes performance data to optimize marketing strategies; and
    -Manages advertising planning, which includes creative development, media planning, performance monitoring, and optimization.
