RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client that is seeking a Grants Audit in Columbia, MD. Key Tasks: Grants Audit will maintain sub-recipient grant database and files for federal grants Work closely with various departments/offices to ensure grant applications comply with federal and Enterprise requirements Monitor and track sub-recipient grants for compliance and allowable costs As a Grants Audit, you will conduct risk assessments of federal grant applicants Conduct compliance audits of grants, which will include off-site and desk audits Develop sub-recipient audit report for each audit conducted; Ensure that the sub-recipient takes all appropriate and timely corrective action required Identify potential areas of non-compliance, control weaknesses, and opportunities for improvement for sub-recipients and recommend solutions Grants Audits maintain audit statistics to generate reports for Enterprise and for federal requirements Assist with regulatory and compliance trainings as needed Perform other activities and duties as assigned Job Requirements:REQUIREMENTS: Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance 2-3 years of experience interpreting 2 CFR 200 regulations Audit/compliance experience Experience managing Federal awards preferred Kforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
