Here, you will find limitless opportunities to learn and advance your career and feel empowered to succeed in the workplace aPOSITION SUMMARY:This position supports the assigned internal customers on their Global Mobility cases, leading all matters related to international transfer services including relocation, immigration and taxation, etc.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:* Coordinates Human Resources activities for expatriate and inpatriate employee population.* Consults with expatriate employees and coordinates pre-departure, post-arrival, assignment counseling and related services.* Consults with the various US operating companies (HR and business partners) regarding application of expatriate programs, including: employment conditions, taxation implications, and ensuring compliance with Nestl worldwide guidelines and local employment regulations.* Coordinates International Payroll actions regarding transfer related allowances and taxation setups. This includes not only the specific instructions to payroll but also the validation of such calculations through our satellite hub* Administers the various international tax policies and international split payrolls in various currencies.* Reviews international tax settlement calculations and coordinate reimbursements/collections between foreign affiliates, tax preparer, and assignee.* Partners with the different Finance departments to ensure proper cost allocation of invoicing to and from foreign affiliates.* Prepares, shares and consults with the assigned groups on international assignment cost estimates* Partners with international relocation provider to ensure compliance with Company policy* Leads year end relocation gross-up project* Gatekeeper of US relocation policy with foreign affiliates* Enters the international transfer information into SAP as well as coordinate the entering of the international transfer information in SAP with foreign affiliates and the various US operating companies* Leads various Global Mobility projects related to expatriation or permanent international transfers such as the annual expatriate salary reviews, tax settlements or yearend tax assistance.* Consults with internal stakeholders (HR and hiring managers) on international transfer needs* Coordinates Immigration visa process coordination* Works with our immigration law firm to recommend and secure the proper visa for inpatriates.* Other duties as assignedREQUIREMENTS:* Bachelors degree required with a preferred focus in human resources, business or related field.* 5+ years of HR generalist and/or HR specialist experience (benefits, tax, payroll, compensation, employee relations or immigration)* Experience in Global Mobility and/or relocation strongly preferred.* Global Mobility professional certification preferred.SKILLS:* Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint* Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel for reporting purposes* Understanding of international taxation and US immigration preferred* Excellent communication skills, both oral and written as well as excellent interpersonal skills.* Analytical and problem-solving skills* Ability to prioritize workload* Must be detail oriented.* Self-directed* SAP HR experience a plus* Mathematical abilities to perform moderately complex salary calculations* Ability to deal effectively with all levels of employees throughout the organization* Ability to exercise and maintain a high degree of confidentialityThe Nestl Companies are an equal employment opportunity and affirmative action employer seeking diversity in qualified applicants for employment.
