About The Job This is a unique opportunity to lead the organic revenue growth strategy for a high Domain Authority site with a strong SEO background. You will be responsible for developing, managing and evolving our organic vision, strategy, and roadmap to create a sustainable and growing organic revenue stream. The ideal candidate will have a blend of user-generated content, editorial content and technical SEO for already highly trafficked sites. You'll lead within the cross-section of SEO, Content, Product and Engineering to direct execution to achieve our organic growth goals. The SEO Director will lead a team of technical and content SEO professionals. Responsibilities Serve as the owner of SEO across all ConsumerAffairs owned and operated domains Develop and execute a comprehensive SEO strategy for both technical and non-technical compliance and optimization Collaborate with Head of Product and Leadership Team to set organic growth goals related to SEO strategy Oversee SEO reporting on key metrics, analyze test results and routinely communicate to stakeholders and leadership on achievement of targets Oversee tracking and reporting on competitor performance and shifts in SEO landscape to proactively address future opportunities Prioritize SEO initiatives between product, editorial and technical teams within their standard processes Educate internal stakeholders on SEO best practices, traffic and organic revenue expectations that align to the overall P&L goals Recruit, manage and develop a world-class SEO team (These responsibilities are not to be construed as a complete statement of all duties performed. Employees will be required to perform other job-related duties as required) Requirements Education/Licensure/Certification Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, English, Communications or relevant field or equivalent experience - not required Experience 10+ years of experience in SEO Strong, proven experience in an SEO-focused role with an already established website with high traffic in highly competitive markets Demonstrated ability to lead team of SEO experts Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments Experience leading content development that generates Domain Authority Strong understanding of technical SEO Demonstrated ability to stay up to date on SEO trends and best practices In-depth experience with website analytics and SEO tools CORE VALUES (our daily GRIND) GENERATE OWNERSHIP Responsibility creates the freedom to quickly deliver value, we make no excuses, and consistently improve results.
