Position Description JOB TITLE: Senior Engineer / Analyst PROJECT OVERVIEW: This position is contingent upon contract award: Use AI/machine learning to assess the performance of software that enables advanced technologies in autonomy, ISR, and EW to assess prototype C4ISR architectures' fitness to achieve the goals of National Defense Strategy Perform campaign analysis and evaluate effects of offensive and defensive information warfare to quantify the effectiveness of prototypes for military operations. JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Conduct systems engineering tasks including Technology Analysis and Assessment, System Definition, Systems Analysis, Systems Architecture development and architecture products, and logistical support of DoD systems * Provide expert assessments of threat kill chain operations and identify exploitable vulnerabilities, analyze mission threads and blue force system kill chains to identify capability gaps and solutions, developing system models, constructs and executes simulation and analysis plans, trade studies and sensitivity analysis, and translates them into concise and comprehensive artifacts for documenting and communicating to multiple audiences * Supports all aspects of a technical program management expertise in an engineering or scientific related field to support the engineering development of prototypes across key technical areas * Provides the technical support in engineering prototype development projects that will impose engineering technical rigor and best practices against projects * Supports development of systematic roadmaps with technical reviews, milestones, concepts, requirements and operational objectives for end-to-end prototyping development Qualifications REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: Security Clearance: Top Secret * Active Top Security Clearance * Master's degree in a recognized engineering, scientific and or technical, discipline that is relevant is required * Minimum of 15 years of relevant, progressive experience in autonomous controls, hypersonics, electronic warfare, ISR, FNC2, etc. DESIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: * Active TS/SCI * Experience interfacing with Joint Staff, COCOMs, and warfighters to coordinate engineering and analysis needs and analytic results is desired * Military or OSD experience * Knowledge of Project management Best Practices * Prior experience in one of more of the following areas: System Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physical Science * Knowledge of DoD Demonstration and Experimentation Support to include planning, coordinating, and execution of a large-scale multi-year demonstration and experimentation campaign to evaluate the operational utility of prototypes in a multidomain environment * Development of a strategy and framework for identifying prototype mission capabilities into demonstration or experimentation venues to evaluate their operational utility WORK LOCATION: Alexandria, VA TRAVEL: 10% KEY WORDS: OSD, OUSD(R&E), DDR&E(AC), Directorate of Defense Research and Engineering for Advanced Capabilities Company Overview Serco Inc.
