The Government team partners with Sales and other market-facing groups within Workday to identify customer goals and challenges, and then propose and demonstrate solutions that utilize Workday's Enterprise Management Cloud and related solutions. Successful Government Presales Solution Consultants are strategic advisors to CHROs, CFOs, CIOs, and are passionate about simplifying the Government industry through groundbreaking cloud technologies and insights guided by data.About the RoleThe Presales Manager will lead a team of Presales Solution Consultants and Enterprise Architects supporting net new Government customers. You will work closely with the Account Executives and Regional Sales Directors to qualify prospective customers for Workday and align the Presales team to cover the active accounts in your territory. This individual will also work with Sales to build pipeline and create demand generation activities, with shared responsibility for meeting and exceeding new business growth targets.In addition to sales opportunity support, this role will own people development and strategi business execution. A key focus area for this role is to mentor and guide your team. You will have a goal to ensure the constant advancement of each member of your team in skills and knowledge, enabling them to effectively grow Workday's business and their own careers. The role is critical to Workday's long-term success.About YouBasic Qualifications5+ years in a sales-related role (sales, presales, value management, customer success,etc.) selling enterprise software2+ years of experience leading people and/or mentoring colleagues on sales opportunity strategyWhen health and safety permits, you are comfortable traveling up to 50% of the time when necessaryOther QualificationsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExperience in a fast-paced work environmentStrong problem-solving and critical thinking skillsA history of hiring and retaining innovative employeesWe would prefer that you have experience working in Government or selling into Government organizationsConsistent achievement or overachievement of assigned goals and targetsSuccess in coaching teammates and/or direct reports in ways that allowed them to learn new skills and achieve career goalsCollaborative with those in other roles to work towards shared goalsUse data to support your decision-making processWe will ensure that individuals with disabilities are provided reasonable accommodation to participate in the job application or interview process, to perform crucial job functions, and to receive other benefits and privileges of employment.
