Loudoun Water located in Ashburn, VA has an immediate opening for a Facilities Manager in the General Services department.

This position will be responsible for the supervision of several facility maintenance workers as well as multiple contractors.  The candidate should have experience performing minor construction and repair work, to include carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, and HVAC preventative maintenance.  Responsible for coordinating, supervising and performing day-to-day cleaning and maintaining Loudoun Water offices, buildings, grounds and other related facilities, to include mowing and trimming grass, maintaining trees and shrubs, and removing snow. 

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in construction management (or equivalent) with thorough knowledge of building systems including: commercial HVAC, plumbing, electrical and, carpentry experience.  Experience in commercial facilities maintenance or construction including supervisory experience.  Possession of a valid driver’s license. Work overtime as required to carry out job responsibilities and duties to include being on call for all fire alarm response and building related emergencies
