Sr. Associate, Product Management, Small Business Card, Spend Management

The Capital One Small Business Team is seeking a Product Manager who will collaboratively define and enable our reporting and expense management experiences.

Being able to track and manage purchases and expenses is a critical job to be done for our Small Business customers. We envision an experience where reporting and expense management is integrated, streamlined and simple. Our focus on simplicity is driven by our mission to help Small Business succeed; reducing overhead so they can get back to what they love most - growing their business.

As a Product Manager, you will work within a cross-discipline team consisting of engineers, designers, business analysts, and others to translate human insights and business needs into consumer-centric services. Through iterative experience creation, you will enable our Small Business customers to make real-time business decisions to drive growth.

General areas of responsibility:
  • Shape and contribute to our Small Business Card reporting and expense management strategy, deeply understanding customer needs to create experiences that meet those needs and are viable business solutions
  • Own the experience - stewarding customer and business needs from concept to prototypes to scalable solutions
  • Accountable for driving intent through our sprint teams; maintaining a prioritized backlog and defining clear acceptance criteria
  • Responsible for bringing products to market in a well-managed way, defining KPIs and testing & learning in market
  • Own in-market experiences; sustain & iterate to ensure they're meeting customer needs
  • Collaborate with an extended team beyond the Small Business Card organization

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or military experience
  • At least 1 year of product management experience or at least 3 year of experience in product design, agile delivery, business analysis, data science, or software engineering


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
  • MBA or Master's degree
  • 1+ years of experience in Agile product management
