Partner Manager, Business Development & Partnerships (Remote)

Partner Manager, Business Development & Partnerships

The Business Development and Partnerships team within Small Business Card is largely about building external relationships to expand the reach of Small Business Card. Our team is growing and a Partner Manager is needed to assist with the development and management of existing partnerships. In addition, this individual will help with prospecting, evaluating as well as the on-boarding of new revenue generating partnerships.

Responsibilities will include :
  • Act as primary point of contact for existing partners - provide progress reports, answer questions, enhance relationship
  • Manage internal operations including governance, reporting, and internal business reviews that highlight partnership progress and overall BD strategy
  • Alongside leader, evaluate new potential partnerships and provide feedback/guidance on if business development team should pursue or not
  • Assist with building and executing overall partnership strategy; influence senior leadership team
  • Additional responsibilities may include:
    • Prospecting for potential partnerships
    • Working with internal LOBs to evaluate opportunities
    • Researching the marketplace for opportunities to help execute internal strategy
  • Manage internal and external RFP deadlines while supporting the RFP process for new partners across the organization


Competencies
  • Strong analytical, project management, presentation, marketing and creative skills
  • Experienced in strategic marketing planning and product development
  • Proven ability to work independently and demonstrate intellectual rigor
  • Organizational skills and effective time management to succeed in a competitive and dynamic environment

Basic Qualifications :
  • Bachelor's Degree or military experience
  • At least 2 years experience in Analysis or at least 2 years experience in Project Management or at least 2 years experience in Strategy


Preferred Qualifications :
  • 2 years of experience within a Card program
  • Experience selling to large scale accounts
