Responsibilities

As an Outreach Manager, you will:
- Plan, direct and execute outreach to financial institutions and industry groups to convey complex information concerning programs, research on program-related areas, responsibilities, and activities.
- Analyze requirements for public information, determine the most effective approaches to employ, develop or modify program strategies, and communicate successfully with financial institutions.
- Provide assistance and consultation to management on improving communication practices to initiate and maintain positive contact with the financial institutions, specialized groups, community and governmental entities.

    Qualifications

    You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.

    Specialized experience for the GS-14: You must have one (1) year of specialized experience that has equipped you with the particular competencies/knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-13 level in the Federal service, public or other private sectors. Specialized experience for this position includes all of the following:
    - Experience designing and executing information or outreach strategies, plans, and activities to inform the public; AND
    - Experience producing written reports or briefing materials that are suitable for presentation to executives; AND
    - Experience providing assistance or recommendations on programs, policy, or communication strategies. AND
    - Experience evaluating programs to assess or improve the effectiveness of the program.
