Responsibilities: Financial & Business Management Consultant Manager will function at a Managing Consultant staff level to lead project teams both at client sites and internally.As a Financial & Business Management Consultant Manager you will be the primary owner of client engagements from cultivation to completion. As aFinancial & Business Management Consultant Manager,a key function of your role will be to manage senior client relationships, provide guidance and oversight to junior staff create and present quality deliverables, manage scope, schedule, and budget for projects, and provide leadership and guidance to project direction. Responsibilities may include:Manage senior-level client relationships.Provide guidance and quality oversight to junior staff.Provide ongoing financial management support to Federal transportation client in accordance with Federal financial management requirements.Track and forecast funds status, run reports, and reconcile financial transaction data in support of daily operations.Develop approaches for and lead quantitative development of business case documentation (eg, needs analysis, cost/benefit analysis).Prepare, review, and reconcile various financial business documents (eg, invoices, travel vouchers)Support budget formulation and execution activities for large programs.Identify and suggest process improvement opportunities.Develop work products that clearly synthesize information into recommendations for clients.Facilitate client meetings to gather data and understand client needs and desired outcomes.Prepare training materials and facilitate knowledge transfer to client stakeholders. Qualifications: Required:Bachelors degree from an accredited college/university with a major in any field that included or was supplemented by at least 24 semester hours in any combination of the following fields: Accounting, Business, Finance, Law, Contracts, Purchasing, Economics, Industrial Management, Marketing, Quantitative Methods, or Organization & Management.Certified Public Accountant (CPA).6+ years of financial management working experience.Demonstrated experience in leading teams of people.Business level proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Meet qualifications and successfully be granted a Public Trust.Currently reside or able to relocate to the Washington, DC area.Preferred:MBA or other advanced degrees in relevant fields.Certification(s) Preferred: CGFM or CDFM.Experience with transportation and/or infrastructure financing and grants.Demonstrates abilities and success with identifying and addressing client needs: actively participating in client discussions and meetings; communicating a broad range of Firm services; preparing concise, accurate documents.Demonstrates abilities and success as a team member: creating a positive environment by monitoring personal workloads, while meeting client expectations; keeping leadership informed of progress and issues.
