Requisition Type: Contingent Position Status: Opened Job Requisition on 4/19/21 Position Title: Unit Deployment Manager (UDM) Administrative Professional The UDM administrative professional serves as the primary point of contact to the squadron operations officer for all unit deployment preparations and processes. The UDM assists with the preparation and processing of individuals for deployments/re-deployments to/from combat zones, exercises, and other locations based on State, US Government, DOD, AF, ANG, COCOM, and any other applicable guidance. UDM is responsible will generate the following reports/forms as required due first duty day to Operations Officer or Delegate: Squadron mobility status report, Status of members tasked to deploy report, AEF Reporting Tool Database Updates, AF-IT and DRRS report. Location: East Granby, CT Security Clearance Level: Secret Duties and Responsibilities Manage deployment reporting to include Unit Type Code posturing; Air Expeditionary Force Reporting Tool (ART), Air Force Input Tool (AF-IT), Defense Readiness Reporting System (DRRS); and individual status updates Coordinate and schedule required pre-departure training with the deploying personnel, their supervisor, and DOS. The UDM requires access to the "Automated Civil Engineering System" (ACES), DRRS and the "Security Forces Management Information System" (SFMIS) for scheduling pre-deployment training and monthly readiness reporting. Coordinate Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 2A training requirements Assess and track deployment uniform and gear needs as specified by organizations/requirements, maintain/inventory uniform and gear once acquired, and distribute equipment and gear for deploying personnel utilizing current host base and AFI guidance. Prepare and submit a list of requirements for purchase to squadron leadership in support of mobility/UDM requirements. Use Logistics Module (LOGMOD) and Excel to track pre-deployment/post-deployment mobility, logistics, security, ancillary training, medical, and dental requirements. Interface with Government-designated Commercial Travel Office (CTO), Air Mobility Command liaison officers, and unit/group/wing resource advisors to arrange and/or de-conflict deployment/re-deployment travel. Coordinate with wing, base, State, and higher headquarters offices on deployment issues and maintain mobility folders/documentation IAW DoD Foreign Clearance Guide, AFI 10-244, AFI 10-403, AFI 33-332, AFI 37-132, associated AFCENT/MAJCOM/Installation supplements, and locally-developed guidance. Knowledge and Qualifications Three years' experience providing administrative supporting DoD administrative support programs. Previous experience working on Commanders Support Staff, highly desired. Three years' experience supporting unit deployment preparations and processing programs. Three years' experience utilizing ART, AF-IT, DRRS, SFMIS, ACES and LOGMOD programs.
