OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES First Finish, LLC is a full-service general contractor that specializes in the successful delivery of fast-track complex renovations of occupied hotels nationwide and in the Caribbean. We are currently seeking an Assistant Project Manager. The Assistant Project Manager is responsible for lending support to the Project Manager by managing multiple hospitality renovation projects in order to complete the work on schedule and within budget. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS a) Assist the Project Manager with developing budgets for projects b) Collect and review subcontractor estimates for the Project Manager to review c) Attend construction meetings and follow up on tasks to be performed d) Assist in disseminating and monitoring adherence to preparing and maintaining project schedules, including the scheduling of subcontractors, material and resource procurement, and ensuring on- time project completion e) Conduct field inspections and supervision, including site visits as required f) Ensure project documents are complete, current, and filed appropriately g) Assist in preparation of subcontracts and purchase orders h) Ensure project milestones and completion dates are met i) Enforce the safety policies and practices of the company j) Distribute RIF and change orders k) Other duties as required SKILLS, CAPABILITIES, AND QUALIFICATIONS a) BS/ BA degree preferably in Construction or Project Management b) Minimum of 2-3 years experience in the construction/renovation field c) Must be a quick thinker, problem solver, and be able to handle difficult situations as they arise at the job site d) Will be required to travel to job sites e) Must be a team player and maintain a quality team environment f) Excellent written and verbal communication g) Bilingual a plus EOE Statement: First Finish, LLC is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
