Position Summary: This role requires a high level of creativity, extensive writing, attention to detail, and project management skills. This role is at the core of the marketing team, and others will rely on your work every day. You will report to the Director of Marketing and engage daily with product subject matter experts to produce relevant content that meets the needs of both key stakeholders and our multiple audiences. Responsibilities/Duties: Responsible for all written, audio and video content needed to support ASAMs marketing plans. Ensures written content is consist with ASAM terminology, brand voice, style, and tone. Accountable for proofing, editing, copywriting, quality assurance and optimization of offline and online content, marketing campaigns, and brand messaging in accordance with ASAM brand standards. Writes emails, announcements, press releases, monthly subscription opt-in e-newsletters, video scripts including aggregation of stories and coordination with ASAM department liaisons. Writes and updates language for ASAM websites in coordination with ASAM Webmaster for brand continuity. Copy edits all materials created by ASAM Marketing Department Crafts and segments content that matches the ASAM personas as identified by marketing plan Collaborates with the ASAM Weeklys editors and assistant editors to ensure creation of the ASAM Weekly news publication. Collaborates closely with ASAM Social Media Manager to support ASAM social media and digital communications by researching and providing content to the Social Manager for posts and responses. Using current email marketing software, prepares emails for distribution; identifies, manages, and assigns audience segmentation; and updates and manages email lists. Requirements: Bachelors Degree or related experience required Minimum 3 years experience with written content related to marketing or public relations. 3 years of demonstrated ability to be extremely organized, detail-oriented, flexible, and professional while managing deadlines and projects. Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and manage projects related to marketing, communications, or public relations. Excellent writing and verbal communications skills. Demonstrated ability to interact positively and effectively with employees at all levels leadership and staff. Desired Qualifications Bachelor's degree in public relations, marketing, or communications preferred, or relevant experience. Minimum 3 years experience with video content related to marketing or public relations preferred. Experience working in a fast-paced organization or agency preferred. Experience working with professional societies and associations and/or in the field of clinical medicine a plus.
