We are seeking a speech language pathologist who is passionate about educational equity, driven by student and family relationships, and provides intentional support for their students.Job DescriptionKIPP DC is looking for a dynamic, committed and flexible speech and language pathologist to become part of a vibrant educational community. The KIPP DC speech language pathologist will ensure that students are progressing on their individual goals by delivering effective, high-quality, intervention. They will report directly to the student support campus director.Key ResponsibilitiesService Delivery: 70% Provide speech and language therapy to special education students in groups and as individuals per their Individual Education PlansProvide intervention to students through response to intervention including small groups and classroom interventionServe students with swallowing disorders as it relates to the school settingProvide appropriate individualized programs of therapy to meet individual students' needs and correct existing speech or language impairmentsConduct speech, language and hearing screeningsConduct speech/language evaluationsCase manage students (this is especially common for speech only, ECE and Elementary students)Stakeholder Management: 20%Serve as a resource to school staff members in the development of a balanced program for oral communication and speech, language and literacy developmentParticipate in Multidisciplinary team meetings and responsibilities.
