We have offices in Ashburn, Fairfax, and Prince William Counties where these positions would be based out of.What We are Looking For:We are currently hiring Licensed Behavior Specialists. We are looking for employees who are flexible in spirit, have a positive attitude and are capable of supporting people with significant behavioral challenges.The Responsibilities:Providing crisis stabilization to supported persons and ensuring their health and safetyProviding Therapeutic Consultation Services to supported persons in accordance with company policies and procedures and Virginia Licensing and Medicaid requirementsDeveloping behavior plansImplementing positive behavior supports to include assessing and restructuring the environment to decrease maladaptive behaviors and increase adaptive behaviorsTraining and evaluating staff on behavior plansWhat You'll Be Compensated:Annual salary of $65,000-$80,000, depending on credentials and experience.We offer a $3,000 sign on bonus, awarded after 3 months of successful billing!An array of benefits to include Health/Dental/Vision Insurance401(k)Vacation, Sick, and Personal LeavePaid holidaysVoluntary benefits, such as short term disability, critical illness, pet insuranceFree $10,000 life insurance planEmployee discounts to local vendorsA$ A' "A' ?What You Need to Have:Position requires at a minimum: BA/BS degree in Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, Human Services, or a related area from an accredited college or universityThree years of documented experience working with special needs and challenging behaviors, particularly with the ID/DD populationExperience in developing behavior plans; MA/MS preferredBCaBA, PBSF, BCBA, or unrestricted clinical licensure in VA such as LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or Licensed Clinical Psychologist are REQUIREDDocumentation of experience working with/developing behavior plans with special needs populations is REQUIREDSignificant experience working with ABA-based supports or in an environment that is committed to positive behavioral supportsAbility to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings and weekends and be able to respond to crisis situations
